A Legacy of Honor and Trust

In 1952, Joe Pustizzi, father of Trico Lift CEO and President Ken Pustizzi envisioned selling farm equipment from his New Jersey gas station. Ken explains, “He drove down to Baltimore without any capital and convinced a manufacturer to give him some equipment pieces on consignment.” A transition from farm to construction equipment laced with growth and expansion over the years, eventually led Trico into the aerial work platform market.

The Up-Time Company

Having grown up in the original business, Ken’s passion was immediate for the new and versatile lift division added in 1980. During the 80’s and 90’s, the company opened or acquired several operating locations in metropolitan regions covering cities like Philadelphia, New York, Baltimore, Washington DC, Cincinnati, Harrisburg and more recently Houston and San Antonio.

A New World

In 2007, Trico Lift became an organization separate from the original earth moving business focused entirely on aerial work platform rentals, sales, leasing and servicing, with Ken acquiring controlling interest in the company. At that time, John Paz, Jr., former President and CEO of Godwin Pumps, Inc., and Argosy Partners of Wayne, Pa., joined Trico Lift as private investors. The company also moved into new headquarters and proudly opened a state-of-the-art Fleet Maintenance Center measuring more than 28,000 square feet.
